Town Sign Contest

WIN     WIN     WIN

The Town of Birch Hills is having a contest —

FIRST PRIZE – $200.00
1st Runnerup – $100.00
2nd Runnerup – $50.00

We have all seen and admired the signs that towns and cities are putting up to announce and promote themselves.  Some are truly amazing…real works of art!

Well, Birch Hills’ existing sign along the highway is due for a major upgrade and we would like your ideas, contributions, drawings and/or designs.  you can incorporate existing town themes or come up with something brand new.  Your ideas can use rocks, wood, lights, vinyl, brick, or anything else you can think of.  The shape is up to you but your design will need to lend itself to a size large enough to be easily read by passing traffic.

This contest is open to people of all ages and walks of life.  Put on your thinking caps.  We can hardly wait to see what you come up with.  This will be an exciting project for all of us!

Please present your ideas by June 30, 2018 to one of the following:

  1. Drop off at Birch Hills Town Office, 126 McCallum Avenue
  2. Mail to Town of Birch Hills, Box 206, Birch Hills, SK, S0J 0G0
  3. Email to birchhills.town@sasktel.net

Note:  upon receipt, submissions become the sole property of the Town of Birch Hills.

Thank you!

A Message From Birch Hills Mayor and Council

Just a friendly but concerned request to those who may find themselves driving a little fast on our newly paved streets:  be aware that our children are drawn to those same streets so please slow down.

And to the parents of children who love to play on our streets:  please discuss with your children the fact that streets are a dangerous place to play, but if they insist on playing there, to be aware of and respect the traffic and to move will out of the way as vehicles approach and pass by.

In this regard, Birch Hills has signs on order, which will be put in place upon receipt.

Thank you.

Street Sweeping

Street Sweeping

Street Sweeping will occur on Tuesday, May 15th and Wednesday, May 16th.
Please keep your vehicles off of the streets on those days to make sure the front of your property gets cleaned.

May 15th & 16th
