With their upbeat attitude, Optimist Club members help empower young people to be the best that they can be.
Each Optimist Club determines the needs of the young people in its community and conducts programs to meet those needs. Every year, Optimists conduct 65,000 service projects and serve well over six million young people.

Birch Hills Sno-Posse
We are the local snowmobile club in town and will be hosting our 20th annual snowmobile rally this year on Saturday February 14, 2015. We would like to extend an invitation out to everyone to come to the civic center that day and check out some of the prizes we have to raffle off and our silent auction items.
The Birch Hills Pre-school will also be putting on a pancake breakfast in the morning and serving burgers in the afternoon. Keep an eye out for our posters around town with all the details!! This will be the 19th rally the Sno Posse has put on. The snowmobile rally is our only fundraiser for the club. Money is used to maintain the three local snowmobile shacks we have built up over the years. These warm up shacks are welcome for anyone to use. The club also makes donations to local organizations like the curling rink, civic center and fire dept.
This year our snowmobile club brought in a new board of members and we are excited to see new faces and open to new ideas to help continue the strength of our club since it was created.
